Big Assistant - AI Model Aggregator & Custom AI Agent
BigBox - AI BigAssistant started as a focused B2B solution, providing custom AI agent bots for enterprise customer service via social media. Our strategic goal was to pivot and serve a wider market, from individuals and SMEs to enterprises.
The core of this transformation was to shift the product's value proposition. Instead of just being an "AI bot builder," BigBox would become the ultimate AI model aggregator. This new vision allows users to access powerful, paid-tier models like ChatGPT, Llama, Gemini, and Deepseek all in one centralized platform.
My Role
My main responsibilities were to design a seamless and intuitive user experience that made this new, powerful feature accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical knowledge. This included:
Conducting competitive benchmarking on various AI model providers to understand their APIs and integration points.
Creating a flexible user flow that allows users to easily switch between models for different tasks.
Ensuring the new design aligned with the revamped BigAssistant brand identity: clean, modern, and minimalist.
Challenges
The main challenge was to make a complex, multi-layered system feel simple and easy to use. I had to solve for these key problems:
Simplifying Onboarding: We needed to design an onboarding process that quickly shows users the product's value, making them more likely to subscribe to a paid plan after their trial.
Simplifying Choice: How can we present a selection of powerful AI models to a user without overwhelming them, making it easy to choose the right model for their specific needs?
